Thomas A. Williams is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of English Studies at the University of Szeged in southern Hungary. He has taught a wide variety of classes on English for academic purposes, translation, and business English, while also researching speaking and postmethod pedagogies, with a keen interest in task-based language teaching and learning. Currently, his work also focuses on pragmatics (conversation analysis, inter- and cross-cultural pragmatics, and language and identity).
